Contruction Radon Services

School and Office Testing

We have extensive experience testing over 100 schools and office buildings, adhering to the Health Canada Guide for Radon Testing in Public Buildings. Our services include:

  • Initial Testing

  • Follow-up testing where required.

  • Meeting or exceeding all QA/QC standards.

  • Comprehensive reports with recommendations for future actions, if necessary.

  • All projects are managed by professionals certified through the Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program.

Inspection Services

Our C-NRPP certified personnel conduct thorough inspections of radon rough-ins and existing systems, ensuring compliance at every stage. Services include:

  • Review of rough-in design and materials to confirm conformance with construction drawings.

  • Inspections from groundwork through to project completion.

  • Comprehensive reporting and approvals to meet building code requirements.

  • Final inspection with natural and negative pressure diagnostics, including recommended fan sizing.

Construction Design and Inspection

We offer expert design services for radon rough-ins in large buildings, including new school construction, in compliance with the National Building Code 2023 (Alberta Edition) and Alberta Infrastructure specifications 31 21 13b. Our services include:

  • Provision of detailed CAD drawings.

  • Inspection services as required, including visual, smoke testing, and depressurization testing.

  • Comprehensive reporting.

  • Review and approval of architect designed radon systems.

  • Installer training when needed.

Mitigation Services

We design and install complete radon mitigation systems for both new and existing commercial structures, with or without pre-installed rough-ins.

Each system is installed using diagnostics before and after installation to ensure optimal performance and effective radon reduction.
